I went to Dr. Li Liu today for accupunture on my ankles. It seems to be helping. I finihed reading "Snakes and Ladders" by Gita Mehta and started reading "Holy Cow, An Indian Adventure" by Sarah Macdonald.
At this point I am just learning to use this blog software. I know I am not saying much of interest. Once I get closer to departure this will get more interesting.

Tom, I read about your trip on the Bootsnall forum. Rishikesh will be cold in January and not very pleasant. perhaps you should go down to kerala (South india). There are lots of ayurvedic ashrams where you can go. The massages may be helpful. There are direct flights from major cities to Cochin. You can spend a few days in Cochin and also see Alleepy. Have a nice time in India.
